Solitude
In a vast world like this,
How can a person be but alone?
For her everything and everyone was gone.
But did she ever long for anything like this?
In all those days of immense sorrow,
When everyone cursed and called her insane,
Her life seemed to be too hollow,
Filled only with memories bad and pain
Then she longed for loneliness,
Which was for her the greatest happiness
She never knew if it was heaven or hell
But in the corner of her heart she did wish somebody to tell
Oh dear! This is all a trial, for some very special
“ But I can't stand this terrible trial,”thought she,
And death is the only way that has to be
And there did she started climbing up the hill
But when reached the Crest, stood still
Thought she, should I live or die?
In that night, when she stared at the sky
Where the moon was bright so clear and high
Found herself bond with the Bridge of Knowledge and Joy!
Oh! Live alone to yourself, in perfect solitude she heard,
Where you can never cry in sorrow, losing yourself in the world
To keep herself going on,
She lived on and on
With no glimpse of sadness,
Was content with her lone happiness.
